Downtempo Chapter 1

In the Kingdom of Amma'ladris, young hopefuls of the gentry are trained to become histories finest musicians, songwriters and dancers at the prestigious and traditionalist Xilynore Conservatory.

Hask Highstride, a half-orc born to nobles under mysterious circumstances, is less interested in living up to the conservatories reputation and more in playing the rakish bard. However, his commitment to apathy is challenged when he strikes up an unlikely friendship with the chancellors son, Saelim Xilynore.

Downtempo is a high fantasy slow burn BL romance about friendship, radical self acceptance and finding the bravery to make the world a better place (by being bisexual and toppling the monarchy)
